Taylor Poppmeier

While those who know her best are not surprised that Taylor found her calling in mental health and therapy, her career arc is a bit unexpected. After entering the fast-paced world of marketing and events, working from both coasts in prestigious museums and high-growth digital marketing firms, Taylor recognized her passion for the job was waning.

After re-evaluating and seeking counsel from others, Taylor went back to what she loved most: listening to people tell their stories. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California’s Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. Taylor has explored many avenues of social work practice from community health settings to substance use treatment centers. The variety of settings allowed her to meet and serve a diverse population. She has helped clients determine a field of study, re-enter society after years of substance use, reconnect with a partner after a deployment, and learn to manage anxiety symptoms.

Navigating the business world provided an added understanding of human behavior. Taylor has worked as a marketer, manager, therapist, and director. She loves to help her clients optimize their lives, whether that be on the personal or professional front.

Taylor has additional training as a couples therapist in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT encourages the couple to identify the pattern of behavior and learn to stop the cycle of conflict. Relationships are the most important indicators of happiness. Investing in them is always a good decision.

Taylor uses a direct approach to build a real relationship with you. She doesn’t shy away from difficult topics. Taylor knows from personal experience that making a big leap can be daunting. Finding fulfillment is worth the jump.

Lindsay Engel

Lindsay’s path to becoming a mental health clinician has been anything but conventional. She began her career in the business world of wine and viticulture, eventually making her way to the fast-paced energy of New York City, where she worked in marketing, sales, retail, and distribution. Later, she returned to her roots in Napa Valley to immerse herself in the production side of winemaking, embracing the hands-on experience of the craft.

Throughout her journey, Lindsay was always a natural confidant—offering friends and family a space of empathy, nonjudgment, and safety. After a transformative spiritual awakening in Bali, she answered the call to her true purpose: becoming a mental health therapist.

Lindsay is pursuing her doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology. She brings experience from both inpatient residential treatment and private practice, working with individuals, couples, and veterans as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal development. She has guided clients through attachment development and patterns, infidelity, grief, and trauma processing. She also helps individuals establish healthy boundaries with family members and supports those new to therapy in becoming comfortable with the process while finding symptom relief.

Lindsay takes a direct yet empathetic approach, guiding clients in uncovering deep-rooted issues and discovering more constructive ways of living their lives. She believes in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, relationships, challenges, and victories. With unconditional positive regard, she sees the beauty in every individual and helps illuminate the path toward healing.
